Jack FitzGerald is a partner of FitzGerald & Mulé LLP. He is an “AV” (highest) rated attorney by Martindale-Hubbell and has been selected annually for the Register of Pre-Eminent Attorneys. Mr. FitzGerald’s biography appears in Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in America, Who’s Who in the World, and he is listed in “Southern California’s Top Rated Lawyers - 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016." He is also recognized in the “Palm Springs Life Top Lawyers - 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016.”
Mr. FitzGerald has received the “Distinguished Citizen of the Year” Award in Palm Springs and is past President of the Board of Trustees of the Desert Bar Association.
Mr. FitzGerald has been a practicing attorney since 1975 and has been admitted to the bars of California, Pennsylvania, New York and the United States Supreme Court, as well as numerous federal district and appellate courts. For 33 years, Mr. FitzGerald has been lead counsel in many of the Coachella Valley’s major employment cases.
Mr. FitzGerald was born in 1945 in Cambridge, and grew up in Northampton, Massachusetts. He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and served as a Captain in the United States Army, primarily as trial counsel in cases for the Staff Judge Advocate. Upon receiving his Honorable Discharge, Mr. FitzGerald participated in a joint program at the University of Pennsylvania Law School and the Wharton Graduate School, where he was awarded both Law and Masters degrees.
Mr. FitzGerald is active in his community and served seven consecutive terms as President of the Board of Directors of the United Way of the Desert. He also served for numerous terms on the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee of the Palm Springs Art Museum.
Mr. FitzGerald has been honored by the Palm Springs Boys and Girls Club with the "Friend of Youth" Award, and was awarded the “Distinguished Eagle” and the “Silver Beaver" Awards recognizing his service to The Boy Scouts of America. Mr. FitzGerald was selected for the “Jefferson Bronze Award” for his leadership of numerous non-profit organizations throughout the Coachella Valley.
David Mulé is a partner of FitzGerald & Mulé LLP and has been a labor and employment lawyer in the Coachella Valley for more than 20 years. Mr. Mulé received his undergraduate degrees in 1989 from the University of San Diego, graduating with honors in English and Philosophy. After graduating from Seattle University School of Law, he moved to the Coachella Valley and has practiced labor and employment law exclusively since 1994.
Mr. Mulé serves his clients well by bringing a breadth of experience that comes from representing both individuals and management clients his entire career. He has litigated cases in all aspects of the field, such as wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour class actions, trade secrets, NLRB matters, tribal labor relations and contract disputes. He also regularly assists employers in developing sound policies and practices to help them comply with the numerous labor and employment laws that affect their businesses.
Mr. Mulé has represented small businesses and large companies and enjoys spending much of his time helping employers solve workplace problems with a view toward establishing best management practices and avoiding litigation. He has a Superb AVVO rating and has been recognized as a Top Lawyer by Palm Springs Life Magazine.
In addition to his practice, Mr. Mulé enjoys speaking on the topic of labor and employment law. He regularly gives instructional presentations to local professional associations. He provides monthly legal updates to the local chapters of the Professionals In Human Resources Association (PIHRA), the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA), as well as annual employment law updates for the Desert Hospitality Accountants Association (DHAA), and other Coachella Valley business groups.
Mr. Mulé enjoys serving the community. He is a Past-President of the Desert Bar Association and sits on the Board of Trustees for the Palm Valley School in Rancho Mirage.
Ryan Quadrel is an associate of FitzGerald & Mulé LLP and the newest member of our legal team. He received his undergraduate degree from the State University of New York and was published for his innovative research methods in cognitive anthropology. He later graduated with honors from Touro Law School in Long Island, New York where he received accolades in the University’s clinical programs and the Moot Court Honors Board.
Mr. Quadrel sparked his legal career well before law school and along the way has acquired extensive experience in the fields of transactional real estate, foreclosure and contract law. He earned a reputation for his exceptional writing skills and was hired by some of the top trial attorneys in New York to draft their litigation papers. As an advocate, he has achieved numerous positive outcomes for his clients.
Mr. Quadrel is admitted to practice before the state courts of California and the United States District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California. He and his wife, Dr. Nahar recently relocated to the Coachella Valley and are looking forward to growing their roots here in our community. We are excited to have him as part of our legal team.
