Since joining the firm in early 2013, Becky Gonzalez has served as F&M’s Senior HR Business Partner. For over 35 years she has provided leadership and HR generalist functions for Fortune 500 and smaller employers, including for-profit and non-profit organizations. Becky’s hands-on expertise includes business planning, HR operational audits and HR generalist activities. Becky has managed her own consulting company providing human resources services for several key Coachella Valley employers where she developed and implemented client projects including HR compliance audits, employee handbook development, training, recruiting and compensation design. She was instrumental in establishing a partnership between the former Desert HR Association and the Los Angeles-based Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA). Becky has held numerous leadership and membership positions in professional and community organizations. She is proud to be part of F&M’s HR team and enjoys helping our clients with their HR needs.

Marne McCluskey

Marne McCluskey
Marne has over 30 years of diverse human resources management experience that spans start-ups and established organizations including Fortune 500 companies. She has extensive leadership, generalist, specialist and hands-on human resources experience working in a variety of industries including airlines, retail, healthcare, construction and professional services. Prior to joining the F&M HR team in 2013, Marne was an independent consultant specializing in human resources for 4 years in the Coachella Valley after she retired as Vice-President of Human Resources for Horizon Air. Marne earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from San Francisco State University and her Masters of Arts in Managing and Consulting from Leadership Institute of Seattle, Bastyr University. She is a Coachella Valley Board member for PIHRA (Professionals in Human Resources Association) and a member of the Society for Human Resource Management. She enjoys working with F&M’s clients and supporting their human resources needs.

Melanie Shelton

Melanie Shelton
Melanie Shelton brings to F&M's clients a diverse human resources background that spans 30 years in both the private and public sector. She has hands-on human resource experience as a generalist and specialist in many industries, including: retail, government, real estate development, resorts, food and beverage and club operations. Melanie has resided in the Coachella Valley for 6 years and most recently worked at a large hotel here. Melanie earned her BS in Management at Florida State University and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. She is SPHR-certified (Senior Professional in Human Resources) and has held leadership positions in PIHRA (Professionals in Human Resources Association).

Ilene Johnson

Ilene Johnson
Ilene joins our HR Team as a Human Resource Business Partner with over ten years of Human Resource experience. She has experience working with a variety of industries in several Fortune 500 companies. Her industry experience includes retail, professional services, logistics, transportation and banking with companies ranging in size from 200 to over 1000 employees. Ilene has experience assisting clients with their HR needs including management and employee training and development, employee relations and workplace investigations, on-boarding and recruitment, as well as compliance and risk management. Ilene is PHR-certified (Professional in Human Resources) and continues to advance her education toward a degree in management at the University of Redlands.
